The sound was amazing, much better than I expected it to be. Deep, bassy, very good sounding. However this is definitely a high-flow exhaust and the bike is running very lean so I lost quite a bit of power and will need to tune the bike. I expected to have to do that though. The quality of the steel doesn’t look fantastic it’s not blued or “adonized” like the name. However turned a nice pretty golden color after a day of riding. The muffler tip has a really nice finish but scratches easily so be careful when putting on the clamp. Installation was pretty easy, but not too straightforward. Had to bend the pipes apart as they were just microscopically off a tiny amount which was just enough to prevent them getting to fit the headers. No instructions whatsoever and it was missing a bracket and it gave me extra parts which I’ve no idea what they do. The fit between the exhaust muffler tip and header pipe is fairly loose- make sure to save yourself some trouble and put some kind of sealant like copper silicone or whatever on there before you bolt it all together as it leaks air pretty bad. The install is pretty awkward I accidentally slipped a wrench off while tightening one of the tiny nuts on the inside under of the bike and my hand flew off and smacked against the razor sharp edge of the straight pipe and cut my finger down to the bone. So be careful of that. Other than the lack of instructions however I’m very happy with this purchase. Install is not that hard so it wouldn’t be that hard to put together some instructions either.
